The first online Aussie Millions online finals took place on Saturday and 37 players were participating. Many former members of Team PokerRoom showed up to try for their chance at the prize package including billybillard who will be playing at the WPT Five Diamond Classic this December while representing PokerRoom. Other players such as whassup, Wieringen, Ovoman and Firework will be participating in WSOP and WPT events.

Play got started quickly and by the first break djordje87 was in the lead. By the second break play was down to 9 players. This time Ramoucho7502 was in the lead with Firework in second and Herc-Ned in third. Herc-Ned would soon take the lead when he won two hands from Ramoucho7502. After this Ramoucho7502 was soon eliminated by Herc-Ned and finished in 6th.

Finishing in 5th was djordje87, DRTimmir would finish in 4th and DiiCanio would leave in 3rd. That would signal the start of heads up play between Firework and Herc-Ned. Play was tough but in the end Herc-Ned was triumphant and Firework would leave in 2nd place. Herc-Ned will take the first seat on Team PokerRoom and get ready to attend the Aussie Millions.

The Casino Del Rio was developed and was placed online by is parent company PlayTech, they have started several initiatives that will reduce their eco-footprint and their goal is to reach one hundred percent carbon neutral status. This is just one of the plans they have and this one is already in place, they also plan to have other online gambling sites join them.
